Welcoming our newest alumni
On Monday, Nov. 10, 1,300 students joined our alumni family of 130,000 after graduating at Fall Convocation. We are thrilled to welcome you and encourage you to check out all the benefits of your lifetime membership in the Alumni Association. See the Convocation pics.
Alumnae honoured as trailblazers
The Women's Resource Centre honoured two U of C alumnae Oct. 22 for their "wisdom, resilience and compassion" in overcoming barriers and contributing to community. Psychologist Kerrie Moore, BSW'03, MSW'04, received the Distinguished Alumna Award 2008, and MSc student Anna Corynne Zadunayski, LLB'02, received the Distinguished Student Award 2008. Sponsored by the Alumni Association, the event attracted more than 200 people and featured performances by Moe Clark and musician Anita Athavale, and the third annual Women's Career and Community Exhibition.
