Programs in the Faculty of Social Sciences focus on the human experience, from the earliest beginnings to the challenges of contemporary society, and the factors that influence that experience.

Programs offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences include majors in Anthropology, Archaeology, Economics, Geography, History, International Indigenous Studies, International Relations, Latin American Studies, Linguistics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Urban Studies
Additionally Collaborative degrees are available in the areas of Latin and American Studies, East Asian Studies, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science and Transportation Studies.
Programs leading to Master's degrees and the Doctor of Philosophy degree are offered in conjunction with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
