Introduction

The Faculty of Social Work offers the only social work degrees available in Alberta, and is committed to providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in the field of human and health services.

Where do I get advising?

Students can get advising on course and program requirements by visiting the Student Service office in the Faculty of Social Work, located in the Professional Faculties Building, room 3256. Programs

The Faculty offers the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree at three separate sites in the province: Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge. In addition, there is a BSW Learning Circle program offered province-wide in rural, remote and Aboriginal communities, and an e-learning BSW program called the Virtual Learning Circle. Graduate

Master's, Post-Master's and Doctoral (PhD) level studies are also available in conjunction with the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The Master's program is also offered at the Edmonton and Lethbridge sites, and as an e-learning program.
