Finnish dance artist Pirjo Yli-Maunula and her lighting designer Jukka Huitila, will present two very different performances in the the Joyce and Quenten Doolittle Fine Arts Studio at the U of C between February 2nd and the 9th. The first work, Body and Surface, is a 30-minute unusual ‘live art work’ performance designed to be seen by only six people at a time. The following weekend, Ms. Maunula will present Self Portrait, an intimate artistic portrait of a dancer, performed in the round for 40 people and runs 35 minutes.
