Description

Cholula is the oldest continuously occupied urban centre in the Americas, spanning more than 3,000 years. Its Great Pyramid, or Tlachihualtepetl, is the world's largest and arguably the oldest continuously used building in history. This presentation will explore aspects of Cholula's long history, considering why it survived when many of its contemporaries experienced dramatic periods of rise and decline.
