The University of Calgary Department of Art presents its 22nd Annual Print Sale on October 15, 16, and 17 in Art Building 617 (6th floor, Art Parkade) on campus. It runs from 11 am to 1 pm each day.
Organized by Bill Laing (Printmaking and Drawing Professor), current students (both undergraduate and graduate), visiting artists, faculty members, as well as the recent BFA and MFA graduates contribute their silkscreen prints to this sale. All original hand-pulled prints are for sale for only $25 each.
Proceeds from the sale go to supplement students’ art materials (such as squeezes and inks) and also to the Santo Mignosa Print Scholarship for 3rd and 4th year printmaking major students. They are hoping to raise $2,000 this year.
