More than 25 student-built solar cars, including the University of Calgary’s Schulich I, will fly across the North American Solar Challenge finish line on Tuesday, July 22 at the U of C.
The challenge is a competition to design, build and drive solar-powered cars in a 3,862 kilometre cross-country time and distance race from Dallas, Texas to Calgary. The public is invited to wave the cars across the finish line, learn about sustainable energy and the environment and cheer for the U of C solar car—Schulich I.
