Faculty of Education wins Chili Cook-Off

The Golden Ladle was awarded for the third year in a row to the Faculty of Education—winners of the Charity Chili Cook-off competition with their ‘Just Chili-in' chili.

“I have already been approached by various members of the faculty with suggestions for next year's Chili Cook-off,” said Ingrid Schmidt, Faculty of Education chili team leader. “This is a great opportunity for faculty members to bond and work together towards a common goal, making sure that our designated charity wins.”

The winner got to donate all funds raised to their charity of choice—the Dr. Michael Pyryt Memorial Fund will receive $687.

First runners-up were the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Schulich School of Engineering.
