| The Urban Campus comes to life through the eyes of Calgary illustrator Pierre Lamielle. Students from multiple faculties, including nursing, social work and fine arts, are currently working, studying and learning with our community partners. The Urban Campus Partnership, a unique collaboration of six post-secondary institutions, recently set an aggressive timeline for development on the East Village site, requesting planning funds from the Province of Alberta, and moving ahead on detailed planning and design. The University of Calgary, as part of the Urban Campus Partnership, is also in discussion with EnCana to occupy space in The Bow project, giving more students an opportunity to study in the heart of downtown Calgary.
