Welcome to the Research Accounting webpage. Since June 2006, Research Accounting (formerly Research & Trust) has undergone significant changes and a massive re-building. With the introduction of PeopleSoft as the core business system, a need arose to change the way research and restricted funds were managed and to facilitate success in a new enterprise reporting environment.  As the research community has witnessed, many new faces have joined the Research Accounting team. A solid new partnership has been built with Research Services and the new Research Services & Research Accounting office was formed in December 2006. 

The Research Accounting team can be found at two separate locations – main campus faculty accounts are managed by the team in the Energy Resources Research Building (ERRB 3512 33rd St. NW), and Faculty of Medicine research accounts are administered by a satellite office at the Foothills Campus (HSG 381). The Medicine Research Accounting team works closely with the Medicine Associate Dean (Research) office to manage post-award financial activity.
