Signature Requirements:

University of Calgary policy requires that all outgoing applications for external research funding require the following signatures, at the minimum: the Principal Applicant; his/her department head and/or faculty dean; and the signature of a designated signing authority on behalf of the University. This latter signature is provided or obtained by the Office of Research Services. Generally, external sponsors also require signatures on applications and provide the requisite space for these approvals on their application forms. In the absence of a signature page on a grant application please use the following generic form to gather the required approvals.
